Credits
Kidzwire is the compilation of a variety of things that make this site special. A few of them are noted here:
- The software that runs Kidzwire is the excellent ExpressionEngine by the folks at pMachine.
- We are hosted by pMachineHosting, whose customer service involves actual real people who know how to get things done.
- The design of the website is an adapted mixture of an excellent WordPress template by Sadish, which was ported to ExpressionEngine by GnomeGrrl, pieces of the original ExpressionEngine design as well as some of our own desgin thoughts.
- The typeface for our logo is a modified version of Adobe's ITC American Typewriter which we chose to give a little "newsy" feel to our logo.
- The picture at the top is of a baby's hand "helping" a father's hand courtesy of Blend Images acquired through Getty Images.
