Kemps LLC has recalled half-gallon packages of Kemps Bakery Classics French Silk Pie Ice Cream due to undeclared wheat, according to the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network.  Consumers who purchased the ice cream can return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund, and can call Kemps LLC with questions.

According to FAAN, families with wheat allergies in the target distribution states should check their freezers for half-gallon packages of Kemps Bakery Classics French Silk Pie Ice Cream.  The packages were sold in supermarkets in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.  The ice cream product contains undeclared wheat that could pose a risk to allergic consumers.
