Even if you are not the quiz type, this one might give you some insights into your toddler’s personality and even provide a little entertainment in between toddler moments.  Tracy Hogg, author of Secrets of the Baby Whisperer for Toddlers offers this short quiz on iVillage, which will help you determine your toddler’s temperament, and may help you work with his/her nature more effectively. 

iVillage offers this quiz by the Baby Whisperer, and a short guide to “Toddler Temperaments.” Yes, toddlers have different temperaments, and they don’t all include meltdowns.  The multiple choice format of this quiz is informative and was entertaining when I read questions like “My toddler displays anger by...” with “whimpering” offered as an option.  I didn’t know that there was any other choice for a toddler but having a meltdown. 

As a busy parent, it can be difficult to take advantage of the many reading resources available on toddler behaviors.  This quiz and the “Toddler Temperaments” summary will take just a few minutes and is great for helping parents think about their toddlers as little people with unique personalities.
