So, we know that we need to work on our education system, right?  Why not start in kindergarten?  This article in the Los Angeles Times highlights some of the issues involved with pushing kids too hard at an early age.

This article highlights the effects of school system “improvements” implemented at the kindergarten level.  Have we gone too far?  I don’t know.  Each parent will have to judge that according to their child’s own class situation, and their own needs.
