We’ve been out for awhile camping, away from computers, mobile phones, blackberrys and the like.  If you like the great outdoors and roughing it a bit, we highly recommend it.

A piece of advice - get the bigger tent, even if you don’t think you’ll need it.  Also, go ahead and splurge on that extra lantern.  You will definitely need the light.  Our spot this time around was Ventana campground in Big Sur.  A good spot for kids and adults alike.  The kids had a blast and were sad to go.
