This article in The New York Times will give you a laugh if nothing else.  The author has taken the text and pictures of Goodnight Moon, and made suggestions to make the story less harmful to children.  If you are overdone with kid books these days, take a look at this article and maybe a little levity will spark enthusiasm.

This story appears to be a spoof on an earlier NY Times article discussing the remake of Goodnight Moon and how the publisher removed a cigarette from a character’s hand to make sure the book does not encourage smoking.  Nevertheless, if you need to take a break and view your children’s books in a different light, check this one out.
