Hi all, we are back from vacation, or as I have also heard it phrased, expedition with our children.  We have learned a lot.

Early elementary aged children can travel in a car for eight days.  Really they can.  They can even switch hotel rooms every two nights.  What they hate is 100+ degree heat - especially when they are from the West Coast.  They LOVE the Blue Man Group, so if you are planning to be in Vegas, stay up late and take them.  They will be a little hyper that night (ours were so loud we received our first “be quiet” call from the hotel), but they will talk your ear off about the performance.  A happy belated holiday weekend to you all.
