Today’s parents have many tools at their disposal for optimal brain development - special music, videos, even in utero.  It might surprise us to find out that parents are more important than all of it.  In fact, there is no special “brain development window,” so don’t assume that your child needs you less after he/she reaches a magic age.

The message in this article is so simple, and it is one that places responsibility on us as parents and hands us the keys to the kingdom in some ways.  Our children need us more than all the special tools created to make smarter babies.  Kind of exciting, huh?
